I was a follower of Sam for many years. I looked past his TDS, because he is entitled to his opinion and whateve's. When he made that "explanation" video, over a year ago, I gave it a listen. All he did was continue to sell his principles over his hatred of Trump. When he went on Triggernometry a few months ago, he proved that he has sold everything he ever stood for and was way farther gone than I had imagined. Sam is a lost soul and I hope he recovers.

@aice336 ... TDS: Trump Derangement Syndrome. Sam Harris would be better described with TDP (Trump Derangement Psychosis), as would a VERY high percentage of those with TDS . I have never searched it, but does not surprise me that Google, DDG and most search engines might hide this affliction. TDS is a derogatory term for people who have lost ALL sense of reason and proportionality when it comes to talking about Trump.

@mymangodfrey ... Good point. I too would reverse course, should I find out even years later that I was wrong about something. In fact, I can now recall I was talking with an old friend and brought up an issue of MANY years earlier, where this was the case. He thought it strange that I would bring up something I had said so long ago, but I felt it important to own my error and clean it up. I do think Sam is big enough to do this same thing, but unless something Trump says / does is MONUMENTALLY profound and betters all humanity in the most incredible way possible... he won't.

@darbyohara ... Wishing this is to become that which I fight against. I would hope that ALL who suffer TDS, including my own mother, find a way to escape its grasp. I do wish that Sam all all others recover, if not for our sake of having to suffer this psychosis, but ultimately for each of them to have a happier life with the acceptance of reality 🐈‍⬛purr... meow... head bonk on leg

@j4Rose ... The only thing Sam Harris is a victim of is TDS. I have seen MANY people afflicted with this psychosis and is like no other mental illness I have ever seen. Nobody ever said that Trump is without fault, as he clearly fails far too often to apply a filter between his thoughts and is mouth.... or thumbs! Those with TDS are absolutely incapable of ANY separation between Trump the man and reality as it pertains to him. . I really like DeSantis, but while he is LIGHT YEARS better at using appropriate verbiage to accomplish his goals, the MarxistCrats will demonize him with 95% of the same vigor, as with Trump. DeSantis is a political animal, so he will "play the game" in a way that ruffles the least amount of feathers, so will likely stop short of a goal, should he get enough push back. . Trump.. on the other hand, has NO eye on future politics, so he has ZERO political future to protect. For this reason alone, the Democrats hate him with a passion that can ONLY be adequately described as TDS. If Trump wins, and the Democrats will do EVERYTHING possible, both legal and illegal to stop it... Trump will take a freaking wrecking ball to the establishment (FBI, DOJ... etc) and if he does NOTHING else, address the issues of Sec. 230. When big tech is held accountable and no longer able to play both sides of that legislation... we will FINALLY be able to get somewhere in fighting censorship on the platforms that have become the Town Square.
