I'm gonna give this a listen, out of my <3 for JBP and my once deep respect for Sam Harris. He completely lost me with his pro-censorship of certain voices he deems to be "unacceptable". As soon as you say it is OK to censor one voice... you will find excuse to do it again! Censorship is PURE EVIL and Sam knows this, but his catastrophic case of TDS will not allow him to see it. .... continue, gentlemen

@potheadfromthefuture2450 ... While you may be facetious here, I would absolutely say no! I don't care WHAT someones views / opinion happens to be, I want to hear it! To censor a voice is not only evil in and of itself, but exactly what happens to the person who HAS that voice and is not allowed to speak it...? That person WILL seek out other like minded people, because hearing "because I said so" is not a sufficient explanation of why your voice is not to be heard. That person will then live in an echo chamber of others who feel the same way and likely perpetuate anti-social acts at some point. . No... if that person has a thought and able to openly express it, he / she will get feedback on why it is a good or not so good idea. That person may be able to make a persuasive argument for why it is better than "fill in the blank" we are doing now and who knows... we all may learn something. After all, wasn't Galileo persecuted for the insanity of saying the earth revolves around the sun?

@thst_bot5368 ... This is pretty astute! :) If this is true, and I am not going to say that it is for certain, it would be pretty darned arrogant. Sadly, it seems Sam feels this is ONLY about Trump and how HE thinks there were issues with 2020. I wish Sam could see that it is NOT the claim of "proof" that should be openly addressed.. it is the ability to make a case for why in an open forum. America was FOUNDED upon the idea that we have discussion... debate... discourse over ideas, be them widely considered as good or bad. There are many, many American citizens who think that being told to "STFU, because I said so", is not the way we should handle such concerns and I 100% agree. . Peace, THST :)

Those who are told this don't suddenly just give up on their ideas and go quietly away. No, they seek out others who feel the same way and wear ALSO told to STFU! This is creates and echo chamber and we see exactly now dangerous and destructive that echo chamber can be, every day when we look at what Regressive Democrats and Joseph Goebbels Propaganda Media Machine does to this country. . To answer the question you JUST now wanted to ask... no, what I said there was not tribal... it is fact! The mainstream media covers for both of those mentioned and will almost NEVER call them out for anything. Look at the border that Biden opened up that could have very well been a nightmare, should malaria or other disease crop up with all those people living in dirt for 2 weeks. Biden's handling of Afghanistan and leaving people behind, as well as billions of $$$ in American / Allies military property.

@b.melakail .. As I have not been following Sam for well over a year and not Bret has moved of this platform ... er, publisher, I have lost much track of him. I am not familiar with the rift of which you speak, but I do know that they are very much aligned politically, so if I had to guess, I would say it has something to do with vaccines.

@MasonRoyce ... Thank you for your reply :) My question to your first statement is... "how does Sam "KNOW" the concerns about 2020 are lies?" So long as a person can decide that someones voice should not be heard, this is a direct path to tyranny by those who think they know better than everyone else. I used to listen to Sam say over and over again "Trump lies". Look, while I a Trump supporter, I am NOT and apologist for him. I don't leap to his defense, but since Sam DESPISES Trump, he would much rather consider when Trump is wrong it is a lie. Being wrong and telling a lie are two different things, but I don't want to get bogged down in minutia of all this. . We all want truth! We all want to know what is happening, but when Sam's personal feelings allow him to say, and he said this specifically... "it would be irresponsible to listen to Trump on 2020". Who in the FUCK is Sam to say such an evil thing, when there are millions of Americans who have seen evidence, not claiming proof mind you, EVIDENCE that there were issues that should be addressed in open forum. . At this point, I think I am just ranting... lol :) you get the point!

Not sure I totally follow you, but I think so :) If I understand correctly, ..."so you're saying" (little JBP humor for ya...lol) that We need to have the discussion, BEFORE one decides another does not value reason or logic... am I correct? If so, I agree, but it is my belief that he has so much hatred for Trump, that has made up his mind that there is nothing he can do or say to persuade him that he can be reasonable, or embrace logic. . The one thing I keep coming away from with ALL the massive, massive, MASSIVE hatred toward Trump.... is why? There are many people who are vilified throughout history and Hitler is the first to come to many peoples minds. However, he was directly responsible for the push to exterminate 6M people off of this earth in an attempt to eradicate them all. BTW, I get there were circumstances that allowed his ideology to flourish, but that said... there are many who think Trump far worse than Hitler and to my knowledge, Trump has killed less people than Alec Baldwin!

@thst_bot5368 ... I would not say Trump was a "symptom" he was the response! This nation has had very nearly 60 years of Marxist indoctrination, as I just saw a little bit of it, as I am 57. The level of hate is something I have never witnessed, and to finish a thought I did not in my earlier comment, the level of vitriol is way, way. WAY beyond reasonable and was so from the very start. Trump was EVERYTHING the Marxists stands against, as Trump had ZERO designs of authoritarian control, but just take one small OBJECTIVE look at what we have right now... authoritarian control. . Look at Australia... the truckers in Canada... leftist governors, mayors and city leaders across the Western World imposing lockdowns, vaccine passports and punishing ANYONE who does not comply with the States view of "acceptable information". Trump stood against ALL that we see now and why to this day, the Regressives are STILL trying to punish him in any way they can. They are simply terrified of him, as there can be no other explanation for the hatred to this degree. I could spend about 15 more paragraphs of the double standards between what they thought Trump was and what Biden and Regressives are! . I am getting well of track here... lol :) My issue with Sam is that he finds and excuse to say that censorship is not only a good thing... but necessary. There is NO necessary censorship, so Sam is supporting an evil philosophy. Whether it be for a single person or a whole group... nobody should be told to..."STFU because I said so" :)

@MasonRoyce ... I tend to agree :) While I don't know if there is actual proof of issues with 2020, the problem I have is WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN DISCUSS IT!!!!!!!!! For months, the Democrats claimed the voting machines that were to THEN be used in 2016 were fraught with security issues. If you want to see a montage of all the CURRENT Democrats who said this, look up a video on Zeducation from about a year or so, I think it was. Probably 25 video instances of everyone from Obama, Pelosi, Shumer, AOC and all the rest saying that Trump WAS going to cheat, because the machines were security failures. NOW... fast forward to 2020 when those EXACT SAME MACHINES were used and Democrats say ..."Safest most secure election in history". Oh really..? So the machines were horrible security risk in '16 and NONE in '20? . This all comes down to not having the discussion. If this were allowed to be in open discussion, yes... it would be a PITA. However, I remember the "hanging chads" of Bush / Gore and Florida votes. The media pounded relentless bad faith of Bush and we saw several weeks of people holding up punch cards and close ups on screen of dimples, misaligned holes, and hanging chads. Now... where is the media demanding that Trump get ANY consideration for his claims that something was wrong. Maybe it was on the up and up, but we well NEVER know, because the entire establishment are Democrats and they will not tolerate the discussion of possible fraud. They want it both ways... To say GOP WILL cheat, so if Democrats lose... "See, we told you so". If they win... "See, it was totally fair and secure". . The Democrats are saying the same thing AGAIN, about the upcoming '22 & '24 elections. They want to have COMPLETE federal control of voting, because they claim that GOP and conservatives will cheat. All elections should be 100% open to scrutiny by anybody that claims it. We should have a hearing, just as they do in legal cases, to determine if there is enough evidence to substantiate further debate and go from there. . What we get is... "STFU.. because I said so!" and this is NOT what America was founded upon :)

The Regressives most certainly want a Direct Democracy, but that is ONLY because they are currently in power. A true democracy, is 2 wolves and 1 sheep discussing what is for lunch! This is an absolute path to authoritarian tyranny and exactly where the Regressives & Biden admin want to take this country. That said... NO, we are most certainly NOT a communist country, but that is not for lack of trying by the current "leaders" in our govt. I am not going to say it is perfect, but the ONLY problems with this nation is the corruptible nature of the human species. It is simply NOT POSSIBLE to have any "ism" and avoid this issue. We can have all the checks and balances in the world, but there are 2 things that cannot be avoided no matter how many checks and balances one might have.... 1. human error 2. human malice ... since these are inherent to the human condition, we could have communism, socialism, capitalism or any other "ism" you can name and there WILL be those who seek power over others and control them. Capitalism is the favorite target of socialists to say how "evil" it is, but they were failed by their education and I could give a 25 paragraph sermon on how socialists want capitalism, but ONLY for themselves as those who would exercise power over others. . No, THST... America is most certainly NOT a communist country and there is really only two things that not one other country on the planet has... The Constitution and Bill of Rights. These items are ABSOLUTELY 100% in the way of Regressives press for authoritarian power and are the ONLY things stopping a full on push. That hasn't stopped Biden admin, as he has already violated The Constitution at least twice and will full knowledge that he was doing so. This is not to say there have been times with both left and right have seemingly crossed the line or at least blurred it, but when this happened, both Houses got involve and had a debate and worked it out. There were certainly some who were still unhappy, but we had the debate!. . This is the absolute #1 issue we are having today is that the Biden admin is doing EVERYTHING via Executive Order. This bypasses the Houses and therefore no discussion is available. The Democrats are ABSOLUTELY FINE with what he is doing, because the Regressives are pulling Biden's strings, as he is nothing more than a puppet for the socialist agenda by Regressives who have taken over the Democratic party. Even with all this, the Joseph Goebbels Propaganda Media Machine, big tech and academia K~college are 100% on board with a socialist America, so they ALL do the states bidding. We can see what is happening in Canada right now. Turd-eau has demonized the Truckers as "fringe, racists, sexists and have unacceptable views" on how Canada should be run. He is a fucking asshole in the highest order to call these EXCEEDINGLY peaceful protests by hard working, tax paying Canadian citizens these things. He is on board with the authoritarian leftists and runs away and hides for like 10 days now, because the last thing an authoritarian can do, is openly address grievances by his population. There is a reason why people ride rafts made of tire inner-tubes, branches and shipping crates to face and open ocean risking exposure, sharks and persecution to flea Cuba. Why others from all around the world have been seeking to find a home in America from all over the world and why we very nearly could have had a massive humanitarian crisis on our Texas / Mexico border some months back. What this country has that no other have to this degree, is the opportunity to thrive and live as humans were intended... live free and prosper. Again, there are issues that get in the way for some, but the opportunity is here and those obstacles can be overcome. . The principles on which this nation was founded are like no other in the world and is precisely why we have, so far, avoided the fate of many Western nations around this globe. Now, Regressives are doing EVERYTHING they possibly can to undermine all that this country was founded upon, but we WILL work it out. There is without a doubt major, if not outright catastrophic damage to our society that we will not know in our lifetimes and will be a DIRECT response to the actions of Marxist Democrats (Regressives). I think that we have had it so good for so long, in terms of generalized peace and prosperity, combined with Marxist indoctrination that the "evil" rich people seek to dominate the underclass. Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates and others could have $1T dollars and has ZERO effect on yours, mine or anyone's ability to do the exact same thing. . What this does NOT account for, is those two things I mentioned in my earlier comment... error and or malice. These simply cannot be avoided... PERIOD! There are no perfect systems, because 100% of them are created / implemented / run by humans. So you can apply aspects of communism to America in the limited social safety net, but that is the rub, isn't it? Countries that have a full safety net may not have some of the issues we have in America, there is a huge price paid by others who have to support many of those who are just too lazy to do for themselves. This is certainly not ALL of them, but they ALL have or had an opportunity to be that Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates. .
