I have zero doubt that there are some who just cannot come to accept their gender and opt for a medical solution. However, for parents to "choose" what sex their child is after birth or allowing their child to "decide" at a later date, will indeed lead to more people with gender identity issues. In these cases, the PARENT is directly responsible for planting the seeds of this confusion and is nothing short of child abuse.
