  1. No... we are living on conquered land, JUST as 100% of those who occupied it before "the white man came". Now, if treaties were made then broken, that is another issue, but we also must be honest about the following. Had the peoples who occupied this land NOT surrendered and accepted a treaty, they would have been slaughtered, JUST as they did to those who came before them.

  2.  @HCP121  ... As I said, breaking treaties was obviously a breach of morality, though I don't know any details about those that were broken. Exactly nobody is denying ANY of the "uncomfortable truths" about America. Nobody denies slavery or refuses to teach it in schools, but we MUST account for the society of the time, for the context in which these things were done. None of which is an excuse to deem it as "acceptable", as slavery, like breaking a treaty is a moral sin. However, we must ALSO recognize, that those native tribes did 100% of those SAME THINGS to those whom occupied the lands before we conquered and took them for us. . In the end, we absolutely must recognize the wrongs, and for the most part, we do. However, there are those who would rather just see us beat ourselves up until the end of time, so that THEY get the virtue signalling points it seems you are attempting to gain right now.
