  2. I am 57 and was in family plumbing business my whole career. I was CONSTANTLY telling people that not only is college not for everyone, but for someone like me... completely useless. Education is fine, IF one wants to learn something, but college and universities are no longer about that. Unless you have a specific goal for Doctorate or the like, colleges end up turning out nothing but angry activists that have $50K or more debt. Of course, we get idiots like Biden The Treasonous campaigning on "eliminating college debt" to get the vote and simply make it all worse!

  3. ​ @thomasjoseph5876  ... Back in the day, I knew a guy with a '70 Challenger 440 Hemi / 6 pack with gear driven cams. I swear the thing spit up chunks of asphalt as it made its way down the road. I had that wonderful big-block erratic rhythm of exhaust as it idled. . It would go Blub... blub.................................blub, blub, blub..... blub...... blub! Boy, when he drove away with just a normal modest throttle it sounded AWESOME! I have no idea what is up with that guy or car now, but more than likely he ended up selling it to some kid who wrapped it around a telephone pole or something :(

  4.  @thomasjoseph5876  ... I currently own an 02 Saleen that I took to Griggs Racing and installed a full racing suspension under it. Don't drive it as much as I used to, but if I got 8K out of my tires, it was good thing... lol. I am not into going fast, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE x10 taking backroads and fast corners. Lots of fun to drive, but it actually wears you out after a few hours behind the wheel. The suspension is EXCEEDINGLY responsive, and run 10" / 11" wide 30 series race tires, so tramlines all over the place... lol. It can very easily look like a drunk driver, because of how it drives. . I am 57 now, so I don't drive it as hard as I used to. I was never a crazy aggressive driver, but I used to push it VERY hard in the corners of California HWY 1 up the coast. Still head up there once in a while, but drive much more conservative these days :)
