Exactly how many songs have been written / played / recorded by the millions upon millions of artists & bands since the beginning of recorded music? As a musician or songwriter, your musical path will cross into what you grew up hearing and what you later wrote or recorded as said musician. Whether by influence or tribute, every song that was ever recorded influences directly or indirectly every song that followed. Who was it that said every artist is a musician and a thief?
