EPIC! I think when this is all over, we will have to give Elon a lot of credit. Not at all convinced we can save society, but Elon has helped open a LOT of eyes!

@CrownOfRoses541 .. Elon is less than perfect, but we MUST acknowledge the MASSIVE improvement in Twitter and particularly with the release of the Twitter files. I am of the mind that he continued to enforce a lot of the BS previously on Twitter, so as to "ease" in is leadership better. There are MANY companies who have huge control over advertising, that if he was to have gone full anti-WOKE overboard, would have been in a lot of trouble. Remember when Apple was threatening to remove the Twitter app? Had they done so, he could have been in MASSIVE trouble and was already dealing with 15 attacks per day from every leftist in the fed and on line. It has calmed down a lot since, so I am hoping he gets more and more 1a going forward. Hell... just look at the calling of BS he has been doing on state funded media. The old Twitter would have NEVER in a million years done that.

@msudawgma ... Two things can be true at the same time. If you read my above comment, then you would see that Elon has a way to go, but Twitter is LIGHT YEARS improved over what it was. I happen to think he will move farther and farther away from where Twitter is now, but that does NOT mean we should ignore the good he has done, to this point. . I don't understand why a person cannot be given credit for ANY progress, unless his progress is 100%. So long as you hold people to such a standard, you will forever be disappointed in them.

@Craig121000 ... To answer your initial question, before you deleted and wrote a new one... YES! I would ABSOLUTELY wish that WOKE ideology were 100% eradicated from ALL existence and for the rest of time... full stop!

I am not on Twitter, but his release of the files, re-instatement of many accounts, though has a LONG way to go and just his general pushback, as we seen here and labeling govt. supported media, IS a huge improvement. . I am not nor have I claimed he has done all he can do or that there is not much more to go, but I WILL give him credit where due. I have been critical of where he has fallen short and will praise where he has done well. THIS exchange is one where he has done well. . Imagine for .2 nano's that the previous Twitter exec's would have said what Elon said here? Never, they would have just agreed to misinformation and hate speech and closed another 1K conservative accounts the following day!
