@scillyautomatic ... ALL funding of media through the state should be shut down... FULL STOP! The tax payers have ZERO business providing funding for a media outlet that controls what they get to see / hear. Just look at how HORRENDOUS it is in Canada, with the two major media outlets funded nearly 75% each, by the state. They get MORE funding, for running ads that the state contracts them to share. This is a guaranteed way to say PRECISELY what the state wants you to say, because they sure as hell are not going to call out the state on something. They would be in grave danger of losing funding, so they ARE the Joseph Goebbels of Canada. . We are almost no better, in that leftist media WILLINGLY supports the state 98% of the time and they too get MAJOR funding from Pfizer, so they were all but forced to press the CDC as the sole resource for all things Covid. Imagine if they started questioning the state and that the jab had possible side effects that have now been PROVEN to be the case in many ways? They would lose ad sales and without Orange Man to drive the ratings, they cannot give up that much $$$.

@dmaginnisiv ... This is an over simplification of what is happening. YES... I want capitalism to be the profit motive, because that is how the people speak. The reason we have nearly EVERYTHING at a lower price, better access and higher quality, is because we have those who compete to provide these services. I have a Lucky and Safeway, not a 5 min walk from my home. Between the two and the 10 other smaller specialized stores within a mile, I can compare prices, quality and go to one store or the other, based on price, quality, quantity or whatever. . Does capitalism attract those who would cheat us... of course! However, this is not an issue of "capitalism" governing peoples actions, it is their own moral failings that lead to corruption. There are 3 things in the capacity of humans that can NEVER be removed... period: 1. Human error 2. Human ignorance 3. Human greed / malice So long as humans run a system, there will ALWAYS be some degree of corruption. Look at Venezuela, Cuba for example. They have socialism and the entire country is ruled by a dictator who has removed the power from the people and is a hell hole, for all but the elites. The closer the west gets to socialism, the more and more corrupt out states get. This is because those who are #3 of the above, seek those positions in which they can control others and not be held accountable. . @EverythingisH8speech .. It is and the reason it has taken such hold is that parents have failed their children for a full 3 generations now. We were busy buying 2 cars, a vacation home and "having it all", while we allowed TV, social media, public schools, nannies, daycare and baby sitters to raise out kids. We have a now fully indoctrinated Gen Z who we see SCREAMING at the top of their lungs or crying tears of agony, for being misgendered! . In short.. the West is F'd!
