  1. Good stuff :) I remember the early days of AMC and was introduced to all these wonderful movies from well before my time, as I was born in 1964. I would go through their magazine and record 2 or 3 movies a day. I just cycled tapes and watched them when I had time. As mentioned, the Beta machine just could not have done what I needed, so easy to see why VHS won that battle.
