  5. I am 57. When in my earliest years of schooling, we were taught SPECIFICALLY, that the Amazon Rain Forest was being cut down like 5 square miles a day or something. We were also told that since these trees were the source of the entire earth's oxygen, we would all begin to suffocate by the year 2K. Well.... that didn't happen, so the goal posts just continue to move. Greta and AOC told us that the oceans would begin to flood the USA in the next 12 years and said that over 2 years ago. Obama recently purchased a home last year, that WILL be under water by the time that 12 years arrives. Just like the sandwich board guys in front of rock concerts... they just move the dates back.

Nobody likes the smoke, the smell, the soot or the idea that it all goes up into the air and, at some point, either comes back down again or in some other way harms the environment. . One of the beautiful things about living in a capitalism based society is that great ideas are rewarded and therefore people WANT to create something good. Solar, wind, hydro are all wonderful sources of energy, but EACH comes at a cost. Solar is great, but generation is limited to daylight and storage is a HUGE factor. By the time we have enough batteries to store all of that energy, we have to put them all over National Parks and THEN run power lines to metro areas. Same goes for wind and hydro. . Unquestionably the most reliable, time tested source of energy is nuclear, but the horror stories we have and the potential that would ALWAYS exist... make that a VERY difficult thing to accept. . Biden admin and Regressives seem to think if we just eliminate fossil fuels from production, we will just magically all drive electric cars. There are about a thousand problems with their thinking and my PC would run out of ink, before I was to finish listing them all in this comment :)

Of course, the biggest issue is that the countries who are the worst offenders of pollution are China and India. We can pass of of the "Climate Change" accords we want and there will ALWAYS be some country willing to relax the standards and companies will move there. Many companies move to these locations because of cost considerations and because the federal guidelines are so aggressive, it is easier to leave. . America has some of the cleanest air standards, but the cost is so high, that we cannot compete with the global market. How about Greta and AOC travel to the streets of China and India and chastise their governments for not doing enough to prevent climate change. . Wonder how far they will get with that?

  44. EDIT: Not saying to claim two homes as primary residence should not be prosecuted, that is not exaggerating holdings, it is fraud and rightfully prosecuted. I have tried twice to clarify, but yt has removed both attempts to clarify my position. . Every person who as ever refinanced or asked for a loan, has at the very least exaggerated their resources / holdings. The lenders know this, so act accordingly.
