On the gun argument: Let's say that you could SNAP your finger and 100% of all guns ever created vanished, no guns could be then manufactured and nobody would with machine metal skills would make one.. there would be ZERO gun violence. Since it is impossible to do the above, criminals will ALWAYS have guns... PERIOD. Responsible owners don't go shoot things up and they deter a large amount of crime that there is no way to measure, because the crime never happens. To take the extreme example, guns were regulated in Germany, by the Nazi's. This lead to confiscation because the government could knew where they all were. When the Nazi's took over, the people had no real defense. Cannot compare us to Canada or other countries due to diversity of different cultures and the values, lifestyles they bring to USA. This is why Colion and other gun owners are against regulation. Beyond those, we have a Constitution and why the vast amount of people that wish to leave their own country, want to be here. EDIT: As per climate change, the short answer is there is no real consensus. If there were, we cannot turn the economy upside down in 10 years. Could we go faster... yes, but it is not the USA that is the big problem. It is China, India that won't do anything and we all live on the same planet. The GND would literally destroy USA period. I really like this guy, except for his politics and it is great to hear Joe push back on that.
