@1:34:00 mark or so, Joe asks about cleaning up San Francisco. Since the city is a stranglehold of leftist running the place, they have a really regressive form of rent control. It is so bad, that the building owners cannot make enough money to properly maintain their properties. This leads to buildings decaying and in turn leads to lower-quality renters that don't own, so they don't care. When you have a very high percentage of rent area, you have more crime and all the rest of the negative things that come along with it. More drugs, so more homeless, so all those that would normally demand more of the politicians, aren't there to complain. San Francisco has gone to hell, because those that rent are SJW's who "feel" sorry for homeless and have no clue about life.
