Did anyone see that Neil Young is calling for employees of Spotify to quit their jobs AFTER Joe's apology? Just shows to go, this is NOT about atonement... it is about punishment!

The hypocrisy that Neil has shown here is truly next level, so he may be rethinking his ultimatum. After all, it is not like Neil Young's music is in high rotation of today's Top 10 countdown lists... lol. . The whole thing is just sad to me :( Joe Rogan has done NOTHING wrong and should never have apologized for it. Neil Young was VERY much a player in the free speech, anti-war, anti-establishment era of '60's. Yet here he is without ANY understanding of what transpired on Joe's podcasts, calling for him to lose everything. It will take historians, philosophers and scholars many, many years to get their heads around what has transpired in the last 6 or 7. Sure, they will point to the Marxism that Joseph McCarthy warned us all about, but they will shake their heads as to how this path was ultimately taken by so VERY FEW and caused CATASTROPHIC damage to the entirety of the Western World. . While Joseph McCarthy was an evil man, in how he persecuted those he deemed communists, one thing can be said with complete certainty... "he was right about a communist threat"! . Peace, Zephi :)

@Thisisnttravis ... I have never been a follower of Neil Young's music, but like many musicians in the 60's, he built he was a strong advocate for free speech. Hell, as mentioned in an above comment of mine, he was co-writer / performer of "Four Dead In Ohio". Just so sad that while he was very critical of the State back then, he offers allegiance to them today, because he has NO IDEA what transpired on Joe Rogan's show. He only knows that the State has deemed it "misinformation", so he jumps on board to support them... pathetic!

Youtube Sucks ass ... lol... I picked that up from my mom who used say... Butterflies = FlutterButts "I forget the name" = whatchamcdoosies ... there are a number of other, which I will recall about 5 seconds after I hit "REPLY"

@TheVileHorendous ... True, but he was once quite influential in culture, as he was a co writer / performer of Four Dead In Ohio . This is before the time of most who are on YouTube, but he was once a champion of free speech and liberty... not so any longer!

@Kthb80 ... Really? Thought I saw a press release from Spotify that they were removing it all. Well, either they are negotiating that he consider staying or there certainly may be legal issues (contractual) that prohibit just outright deleting files. It also could be true his music is gone, but the LINKS / images are still present, because they haven't yet removed them.

Funny how the elites, also very well off financially, are calling for defunding or outright removal (Susan Serandon) of police and stripping away 2a completely. Ya, the wealthy are always complaining how the "little guy" is lacking something and do benefits for politicians seeking to create legislation in order to have the govt. assume the care of them, by way of raising taxes on all of those they purport to be helping! And, ya (again!) raising my taxes to pay for garbage legislation that will not only cost me that tax money, but create barriers and push up the expense of the very things the legislation claims will be more affordable. . Government was never meant to provide what it has grown to view as its obligation.
