  1. EDIT: Wrote comment prior to watching video and was not aware they were told and that gratuity was explained on the menu. I retract my comment below: ======================================================================================================================= I do have some issues with mandatory "gratuity charges" and particularly when it is INCLUDED in the bill. This makes it a legal issue, if you do not pay that entire fee.

  2.  @Anahi1991  .... I am not from Houston and only visited there once, some 35+ years ago and my comment was prior to understanding it was on posted and on the menu.

  3. ​ @Anahi1991  .. Thank you, but I deserved to get punished for what I said here. I had not watched the video, but went on my general take of mandatory gratuities. . As a rule, I do not like them. However, local businesses know the people and society well, so I have ZERO place calling them out for something they likely did NOT want to implement, but felt compelled, due to failure of gratuities. In the big picture, I would like to see society recognize the work waitresses / waiters do and accept to pay higher price for meals, so as not to require tipping, to give them a reasonable salary. . Tipping was originally designed to be gift for a particularly nice experience, often enhanced by those who work the tables. I wish it was not necessary to make them mandatory, but in some cases... it most certainly is 🐈head bonk
