  2.  @bradmiles1984  … I 1000% agree for this and several other reasons. Of course, that has no influence over the spirit of the law, but only the letter of it 😿 . I have no doubt that the leftist cult who legislate that jurisdiction will do everything in their power to move this suit along as far as possible, so as to make the life of this Bodega store owner and the citizens of that area rue the day they ever take up arms against a criminal, regardless of circumstance. . In the end, the best we can really expect is that there will be a selltlement out of court, because nobody in that family wants to face the wrath of a city who is hell bent on punishing the victim of a crime. What I think will only add MORE motivation, is the fact the DA had to drop the charges, due to societal pressure. I guarantee that sticks in the craw of that DA and will push as hard as possible to punish this man, the store owner and citizens for daring to expect criminals be held accountable for their actions!
