Cannot say how many have busted my stones for giving Ana some credit for calling out the side she so staunchly defended for years. Cannot UNDO the damage she has pushed over the years, but I welcome ANYONE who will talk truth.

@totorosghost ... I completely agree. You have probably seen more of their content than I have, but I am well aware of how horrendous they are about a mega sheet-ton of things and Seantiago has talked about a LOT of it (certainly not all). . For the record, I don't forgive her for what she has done to lead her audience astray (lied / maliciously falsified data) for years. I am just, happy is maybe not the right word... maybe it is, to see here acknowledging things that are MANY years too late, but doing so none the less. She has much to answer for, but how often have we seen a prominent VERY far left "news" person, take a 180 on anything of substance, much less openly call out at least some of it right on her own network. We have seen Cenk agree on somethings, as well as appear shocked at some of the things she is now calling out. . If any of this is ever going to change, we need those on the inside, and for the moment at least, she remains there. Some of those who follow that channel, are now getting a perspective they have not considered prior and some will ponder / discuss it in other venues. . This is a good thing, Peace, Totoro 😺

@totorosghost ... Yes. I saw your comment, as I was finishing up mine, so edited prior to posting to reflect a bit of it. I agree that Ana and Ben's conversations were not all that illuminating, but she is having them and this humanizes each side to the other, so at least some degree. You and I both know that conservatives are exceedingly dehumanized by the leftist and they dictate the rules that the "left" plays under. . The big thing for me is that dialog, though not very fruitful as of yet, IS happening. When there is NO dialog, as we have seen for years now, the breakdown / divide only grows and gets worse. We (liberals / conservatives) will never see completely eye to eye on many things, but when the left steadfastly refuses to even engage, we are powerless to reach any understanding. . Some of the left is starting to recognize that they have removed the brakes and tossed out the steering wheel long ago and people like Bill Maher have been calling it out. We need a HELL of a lot more, but every Ana, Bill that begins to ask why the steering wheel and brake lever are a decade in the rear view, we will start to bridge some of the gap. . It may very well be too late, as I think we are 98% done right now...but I am clinging onto that 2% hoping for a miracle 🤞

@totorosghost ... Agreed. There are a mega sheet-ton of those who support the staying in a bubble and we have the "algo" to thank for it in music, movies and content of social media. . It is my prediction that in the next 100 years, scholars, philosophers and writers will be looking in hindsight of just how society collapsed, 95 years prior! . 🐈head bonk to you

@totorosghost ... RE: I read it just fine : I have been subd to AJW for a number of years. Please show me at where and how I said she should be forgiven for the damage she has done.... oh, I DIDN'T. In fact, as your follow up comment recognizes, I made it clear that it does NOT undo that damage. I am giving her credit for seeing at least some of the error of her ways... that's it. Do not seek to make me responsible that which you project upon me. Ana has spoken to Ben Shapiro on at least 2 occasions and he is persona non grata in top 10, possibly. She is calling out some of the things she very much pushed for a great many years, but she DOES deserve some credit for recognizing and pulling some of it back in. . It is not my problem that you seek to ascribe a greater amount of credit than I am offering.

@totorosghost .. Agreed 🐱It is my hope that those loyal to Ana for many years or just a little while, will. be getting exposure to ideas that are counter to what she and Cenk have been saying. This can only be a good thing, but we just need to see a LOT more Bill Maher's, Anas and the few actors that are being a bit more vocal.
