Bowman did not set off the alarm to get outside, he pull the lever and immediately walked away and did not check the door. When Jake Tapper calls out a Democrat... hell has frozen over.

Had he fumbled with the door for a moment and not just walked up, ripped off the signs, reached directly for the alarm, pulled it and immediately walked away, we give some degree of generous interpretation. . Of course, given what we can see he did on video, which SHOULD have been released, in lieu of a still a couple weeks ago... it is perfectly clear his intent was to cause a disruption. That disruption was a direct threat to the vote process, of which he has admitted was forefront in his mind. . He is guilty as sin here, but it will make absolutely ZERO difference to anything. Media, Dem's will cover for him, GOP has NONE balls, so will not pursue the legit charges he should be facing and the state will continue along its path of destruction.

@ariel-y-e-m ...Agreed. He walked up and ripped the sign off one and sort of swatted at the other, then immediately for the alarm. The frustrating thing about ALL of this, is the initial cover up by the Capitol Police, who released a still image, rather than the entire video. They had to WATCH the video, manipulate the pause, so as to freeze on the pulling of alarm, when just releasing the video would have told the ACTUAL whole story. . The same Capitol police did the SAME thing, with Jan. 6th footage, that we only found out, due to Tucker showing it after Elon got involved. The Capitol police have a TON to answer for here and all over the place (remember the riot in front of 1600 when Trump was POTUS?) Look at the footage of Jan. 20th, 2017, when a riot that was worse than Jan. 6th disrupted Trumps inauguration. The Capitol police have UTTERLY failed this country as they work NOT for the American citizens, but the Democratic party.

@johnellis5820 ...Yes. Since it was done deliberately to disrupt the vote, as proven by his actions of NOT checking the door afterword, becomes a federal crime. Now, had it not been for the EVILS placed upon a sheet ton of Jan 6th persecution, it might not warrant more than a very harsh warning and some sort of censure by the House. He deserves to be called to the carpet for this, but the Dem's sure as hell won't do it and the GOP does not have the balls to do it... he will skate free.

@jackeagleeye3453 ... It should absolutely NOT be, but would agree, had Jan. 6th persecutions not taken place. This was a deliberate move to block a Congressional vote and that is a fed crime. . Our country has been taken by those who would project evil upon its very foundations. How do we fight an enemy so hell bent on destruction and a media that offers all the assistance possible?

I have not heard Santos as being blamed or somehow responsible in some way, but it is due to his DIRECT action (monumental financial support of far leftists all over the country), that has lead to a sheet-ton of horrendous DA's, mayors, governors and politicians. . George Soros may not have pulled that alarm, but he is certainly guilty of the perpetuating the evil that has consumed the Democratic party.

@EnclaveColonel ... Slowly but surely, we are seeing more and more of VERY soundly leftist types, changing their tune a bit. Ana of TYT's has made HUGE strides, though a ways to go. Bill Maher was never a leftist, though certainly afflicted by extreme TDS, he has begun to call out the left more often. . We are seeing a few cracks, as there are some who realize the bubble they have been hiding within and, if they want to survive the reckoning that is most definitely happening... they had better clean up their act.

Were I the speaker, I'd have a huge flat screen with that 5 second tape looping ENDLESSLY for all to see right there on the wall of Congress. I would MAKE the Dem's complain to take it down. My reply..? "Well, we just want the American people to see what a true hero Bowman is, for doing all he can to ensure those inside could reach safety".

@BPF80MCar-vi1pg .... Don't know what that was about but his pulling the alarm was a deliberate move to delay the vote that he had already said was top priority in attending. Knocking the signs down was a bit weird, but since is very comfortable lying his arse off to the nation, the Joseph Goebbels Propaganda Media and Democrat party are all to happy to run cover... he will not have any reasonable explanation why he did.

@@Ranidine26 .. Not a "hard" calling out, no... but he actually pushed back, which was absolutely unthinkable, just a year or so ago. Yes, the Capitol police are as corrupt as the FBI, DOJ, ATF and all the rest. This is why I feel Trump is the ONLY one who would be capable of taking a wrecking ball to the system. I don't know that he will, as nobody knows, but he CERTAINLY has the motivation and, more importantly... he has NO political future to protect. . He can make an absolute moral enemy of the entire Democratic party, already has, but can cement it for all time, but unlike every other person running, he has no political future of which to be concerned. . To make the difference ONLY he can make: 1) MUST have sound majority in House 2) MUST have sound majority in Senate 3) MUST retain / strengthen SCOTUS 4) MUST have the GD'd balls to tell the American people what he wants, where he is going and immediately rescind 100% of ALL Biden's EO's. He must get the wall built, America energy independent, then dial back a HUGE amount of the meddling in foreign affairs and work on America for a change. . I have NO IDEA if Trump is gonna have all those things in a row, but it will also take good people to stand up and StOP COMPLYING with tyranny of the Democrats.

Regardless, his intent was to disrupt the vote, but he had NO idea that he was on camera. He may have tried the doors, knowing they were not an ENTRANCE, but hoping he could get out and that might set off the alarm automatically. If that were the case, he would have been easily able to claim simple ignorance.
