I did not see the debate, but I have learned from vast experience that trying to communicate facts, logic, intent, context and attempt to correct misunderstandings to a leftist is a complete waste of energy! The leftists of this nation are in absolute control of information flow and they have no desire to understand ANY views outside of the doctrine. If anything is said or done that does not conform 100% to the cult narrative, such a person is cancelled, cut-off or otherwise removed from the conversation. I have said this before, but one day when this leftist house of cards come tumbling down, I don't know how we are to co-exist with them. The true leftist has no mechanism in which to forgive or get beyond what is considered to be true by definition of that doctrine. The moderate Democrats (the sane people that are afraid to actually stand up for TRUE liberal values) are scared into line with the extremists doctrine for fear of being an outcast. This leftist stranglehold on society will not end, until the moderates of that party stop rolling over like a scared puppy and stand against the extremists who have completely taken over their party and, indeed.... this nation!
