I have seen a few suggest this comes from frustration within Will and his marriage. She has already humiliated him and now caught laughing at a joke that she HATES. Don't think he wanted to face what she would have said later, had he done nothing, so goes over the top and now has to face a world of hell. We will see what happens, but I think he will be worse for wear over all this.
