@L Vincent ... :) Nope... Shakti was an AMAZING group of musicians mostly from middle eastern players with L. Shankar on violin and the pairing he does with John, you... lol, is absolutely amazing stuff. . I am a huge fan of Maha and have some 50 or so live soundboard recordings mostly from the 4 piece with Cobham on drums. He also did some SPECTACULAR work with Carlos Santana, from mid '74-'76 and a bit here and there much later. Anyway, wanted to give you props for your work with Miles "The Monster" Davis, back in late '60's as well :) EDIT: YouTube deleted my comment, due to hyperlink to webpage of those 3 Shakti LPs. Look up "Handful of Beauty" and "Natural Elements" for my faves

@lvincent8843 ... The one song that particularly stands out, when I think of the first few Shakti LPs, is "The Daffodil and The Eagle" from Natural Elements. Your guitar work, does this wonderful dance with L Shankar's violin and is just spectacular :) . Yes, I am a Tool fan and just a music nut of pretty much all instruments. However, I am most fond of the "vibrating string". Whether it be guitar, piano, bass, cello, harp or banjo, there is just something about the sound such instruments make that impresses me. Of course, my favorite and the most unique of ALL vibrating strings.... vocals. Music is such a blessing and nice to meet someone who appreciates it as I do :)
