  19.  Ken Blades  I am. The campaign began on Jan 21, 2016. Didn't matter who the canadate was going to be. Turned out to be a good move. 16-20 was controversial to say the least. A merry go round of an administration. Now we have a stable administration that is beginning to make progress .

  21.  @quirk8841  your comment on the covid deaths is a bit exaggerated . March 2020- jan2021 saw app 400k deaths. Jan 2021-Nov 2021 is app 400k deaths. March- January much of the country was closed down. January- November much of the country has been open. The vaccine has been credited with saving 200k lives. Variants are prolonging the pandemic. Tragically mostly in states with low vaccine rates.

I guess you can say that covid was in the US before March 2020. Some say as early as December 2019. You have to admit though that nobody seemed to react before March. If my memory serves me there were less than 20 deaths attributed to the virus in March.

Now that the colder weather had arrived the rates have begun to creep up again. Life goes on just the same. Something that wasn't happening a year ago . I'm hoping for better days. Everyone should be. As for blaming the orange man. Mostly what I do is defend Joe on here since everyone here seems to blame him.

How much do you know about the dept created by the Obama administration to monitor the world health events. And what became of it after the don took office.

  26.  @quirk8841  So the reactions were to defend constituents in their districts before the pandemic restrictions were put in place. I seem to remember a phone call where the don didn't want to cause panic and chose not to alarm the citizens. And yes. Not bring up south Dakota who's govenor chose to do nothing. at one point last fall the state was was seeing infection rates higher than most countries on the planet. Mayors begging her to impose restrictions. I guess in the long run it all worked out though. Unless you worked at one of the meat packing plants in the state.
