  11. @Joe Hidin’ Ending a war is messy . Joe announced the withdrawal in early July. Giving everyone that wanted to leave close to 2 months to leave. Anyone still there on September 1st have nobody to blame but themselves. As far as the equipment left behind wasn't the plan to withdraw and the Afganistan military would continue with fight. We're we to withdraw and take all our toys with us. Thankfully the US taxpayer no longer has to dole out 350 million a day to support the occupation.
