  16. I live in the northeast. Have several teachers in my family. One sister in law is far left in her ideologies and had a habit of lecturing her students about her philosophy. The school dept got some complaints and was reprimanded for it. I always thought this to be standard policy in the school system now. Am I wrong.

  62.  @vc400  all true, I dont understand the big deal. Where I live if you teach you stick to a curriculum. Teachers are reprimanded if they veer from it. It w hff like that when I attended school. It was when my children did as well. There is input at every level including parents. Like everything else in life not everyone will be satisfied. If not, private schools are an option, as is home schooling
