@cynthiawadeson8843 there ya go. If voter ID is required to vote. The government should provide it when a citizen reaches legal age.

42.6 as of yesterday.

Just provide some evidence

@kerosoldier Take a few minites and read up on the economic effects of the Spanish flu pandemic in 1918. The parallels are uncanny. The US had oil dependance for a total of 2 weeks during the last administration. Reason to brag. But not for long.
2
Inflation always rises during wartime Fighting a pandemic is a war. If you don't believe me. Read up on the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic.

Not everyone drives. Black or white.

@ninew1741 not everyone can afford it
1
@cynthiawadeson8843 For the citizens that cannot afford, or the citizens unable to easily obtain the nessasary documents due to a disability or other hardship I do. Every law abiding citizen has the right to vote. There is to much controversy on this subject. Find a way to end the controversy. In my opinion a universal voter ID provided free of charge would solve it.
1
@kerosoldier I do know that.. Maybe not that hard for you or I. But there is a segment of society that it can be difficult if not impossible. Do you deny them the right to vote ?
1
@kerosoldier if voter ID becomes mandatory about 3% of the voting population will be denied that right. There are circumstances that keep people from obtaining legal identification. A universal government ID would end that.
1
@kerosoldier if, for any reason whatsoever a person is unable to vote because that are unable to obtain a valid ID . They have been denied the right to vote.

42.6% approval as of yesterday.

@nadia0701 I don't think Jay understands sarcasm 🤷♂️

@suecorcoran9477 42.6 %

@b.d.walters9402 Quinnipiac had him at 38%. It is the only poll I've seen with Joe below 40%. I've seen half dozen others in the low to mid 40's Faux pounced on the Quinnipiac poll for obvious reasons. 538 averages 8 different polls. I find it the most reliable.

81 million patriots do.

@timmullens9479 the don walked into a strong economy. Built it by cutting taxes mostly to the wealthy. Increasing the deficit more than any other administration. Things looked awesome till covid. Then the house of cards came tumbling down.
1
@ricktd6891 the republican base has been noticeably shrinking since January 6th Dropping to 3rd behind dems and independents. I'm wondering if the reluctance to take the jab by so many on the right is taking its toll as well.
1
Anyone looked at the inflation numbers during and after the 1918 Spanish flu pandemic ? Interesting reading.
1
@wnchstrman Covid has killed millions as well. The US has already exceeded the fatality number of the 1918 pandemic.
1
@wnchstrman I understand the history. I also understand this isn't over. You comment on the survival rate in the US. Worldwide it is over 3%. The entire planet needs to be vaccinated.
1
@wnchstrman Spanish flu took the young. Covid is taking the old and compromised
1
@wnchstrman the deeper you dig. The wilder the conspiracies. The flu on a bad year will take 60k lives. Covid has taken 800k in 1 1/2 yrs plus. My original comment was on the economic effects of the pandemic. Don't remember mentioning mandates.
1
@wnchstrman they do if we want to get the pandemic under control. Economic devastation ? I see Economic hardships easing as more and more of the country takes the jab. Some countries have barely begun to vaccinate their citizens.
1
@wnchstrman nothing
1
@wnchstrman you cannot eliminate it. You can control it .
1
@The-Contractor majority doesn't cut it. When it comes to voting rights. It needs to be 100% The government should issue id's when a citizen reaches legal aid. But republican lawmakers keep fighting it. Why ?
1
@GAVACHO5150 great ? no. Going in the right direction ? Yes.
1
@The-Contractor sounds good as long as you can afford the cost of an ID. Voting is every citizens right. If an ID is a requirement. Which I support. It should be provided. If every citizen has one. The controversy ends.
1
@caro350 everyone is bitchin about voter ID. Issue voter ID'S and end the bitchin.
1
@caro350 that's great. But does every state have them ?
1
@caro350 none that I'm aware of Caro. But there is push back from republican lawmakers to enact a government issued ID. Why ?
1
@caro350 we being the voters in your state ?. Part of the confusion is the different rules in different states. I understand the desire to keep the independence. But heck, It's such a controversy. Why not make a national voter ID. When a citizen becomes of legal age one is issued and required when they go to vote. End of controversy.
