@joannemoser3443 they don't teach crt in any elementary, middle or high school in the US period. Only place it is taught is in college. Just a fear tactic used by the right to create needless fear and anger.

Like it always has. Dem wins the white house. The house and senate go red. Republican wins the white house. The house and senate go blue. History repeating itself . Again.

@terri200026 I did see some protests while Joe was in Europe. Mostly protesting the summit itself . I remember vividly the Don's visit and the tens of thousands of protesters that were protesting him. What stood out most was the giant inflatable trump baby. Hilarious.
2
@Hawkcam1996 with little support for yourself and the parents that claimed crt was being taught to their children I'd suggest they homeschool or possibly open schools that cater to their specific beliefs. Seems a vast majority of parents, teachers and school officials are proud of their curriculum especially in the various Connecticut school districts. No lie.

@morbiddead666 bottom line Robin losing any war is messy. It came at a cost no doubt. 3 presidents didn't get us out of Afghanistan. Joe did. 350 million dollars a day not being wasted on foreign soil. More importantly. No more military casualties .
2
@ChickensAndGardening thought it was Nascar.
2
It is only being taught on the college level. No elementary, middle or high school in the country is teaching it.
1
@morbiddead666 how Robin.
1
@Hawkcam1996 it is not part of any curriculum in any K-12 school in the US. It is being offered in some colleges.
1
@Hawkcam1996 it is not part of any curriculum in any K-12 school in the US. And yes, one teacher in Southern Cali was caught going against the curriculum. And when he or she did their were consequences. It isn't part of any curriculum in any K-12 school in the US.
1
@Hawkcam1996 you named one example of a teacher that was teaching it and that teacher was fired. Isn't it possible that one teacher went against the curriculum and was Fired . I'm assuming you understand the meaning of curriculum.
1
@Hawkcam1996 can you direct me to a source. I hadn't heard of a teacher that had refused to teach it. All I has heard was of one that had been caught teaching it. I'll do some research myself. That is news to me. I can read . And have the maturity to refrain from childish name calling. Albeit it can be difficult.
1
@Hawkcam1996 found one teacher that resigned because she believed crt was being pushed on her students. That the one ?
1
@Hawkcam1996 I didn't see any of the lessons . But did read that calling it crt was disputed by most all education boards in the state. I also didn't see anything about parents complaining about the curriculum. Anyway opposing veiwscat best without the actual text of the lessons
1
@Hawkcam1996 I've heard many parents complain about all kinds of things over the yrs. Many of those complaints had merit. Complaining about something that isn't happening isn't one of them. What I found on Gordon Klein has his issues on the college level . A professor at UCLA.
1
@Hawkcam1996 crt is not on any curriculum in any K-12 school in the US. The fact that Gordon Klein is a university professor excludes him from the K-12 discussion. And Jennifer Talufto is one teacher with a dispute that is at best debatable Where is her support from other teachers, parents, students . Sorry, All I see here is a difference of opinion. I commend her for standing up for her principles. Hopefully she will find another teaching position that caters to her beliefs and lives happily ever after.
1
@Hawkcam1996 I will look him up but found your 1st 2 were at best debatable. I believe that most every child was forced to attend school remotely during the pandemic. Giving every parent the opportunity to see 1st hand what was being taught to their children. Did some find what was being taught objectionable ? Obviously. Are the numbers overwhelming Hardly.
1
@Hawkcam1996 agreed. And not all parents would understand . The option is always there. If your not happy with the curriculum, Which most parents overwhelmingly are. You have other options.
1
@Hawkcam1996 looking back at my education and the teachers I had I felt more engaged when a teacher injected some personality into the lessons. The science teacher that spent his or her entire class with their backs to the students scribbling on the chalkboard bored me to sleep. The English teacher that would engage the class about a particular book or poem had me sitting up straight listening intently to something I probably never would have ever looked at . I can still 50 yrs later pick out the teachers that I benefitted from, and barley remember the ones I didn't It's not always the lessons. It's often the method the lessons are delivered. Most teachers are just as dedicated as Jennifer is to their students. Pleasing every parent is impossible and teachers know it. The goal is to please as many as possible and educate their students at the same time . An incredibly difficult task.

@PresAdams-bz2ep so did the dems in November 2020. 81 million plus.

1
@morbiddead666 different subject Robin.
1
@joannemoser3443 understood as well. Always vote. Look what was accomplished in Nov.
1
@morbiddead666 the truth shouldn't bother anyone.
1
YouTube WantsToSilenceMe no K-12 school in the US is teaching crt.
1
@johnsalaman503 just half a sandwich thanks.
1
@johnsalaman503 the fear comes from CNN. The anger comes from fox and others like it. It is very profitable 📈
1
@rodiusmaximus many people believe it has merit. Especially people of color. It still isn't part of any curriculum in any K-12 School in the US. Despite what the bobbleheads tell you.
1
@johnsalaman503 your leader has taught you well . Enjoy your half .
1
YouTube WantsToSilenceMe I think I've seen one instance in Southern Cali where a teacher was either reprimanded or dismissed for discussing it in the classroom. It isn't on any curriculum in any school K-12 anywhere in the US. I refrain from calling anyone a liar without actually seeing the video. And I havnt.
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist yes.
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist out of Afghanistan finally.
1
Expected inflation due to manufacturing disruptions due to the pandemic. Something the world is experiencing.
1

@ActualDrunkAtheist IRS 600.00 dollar trigger has been recinded back to 10k
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist southern border has been an issue since Nixon
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist tests are free
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist hadn't heard that any government official were . Most if not all government officials and contractors are required to either take the jab or weekly test.
1
@jewelbell5 keeps me hydrated. And informed.
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist sorry, No way of knowing how it would have gone had the don won a 2nd term. We can only speculate. Losing a war is messy. This one was no different. 350 million a day the US taxpayer no longer has to waste on foreign soil. More importantly , No more US military casualties.
1
@ActualDrunkAtheist yes , Was the don planning on bringing it all back by may 15th. Again, We can only speculate. The intention was for the Afghanistan military to use it to continue the fight. That didn't go well for sure. The amount has been greatly exaggerated. Either way, It was messy.
1
@joannemoser3443 at least she spelled loser correctly. Many here add an extra o for some unexplained reason.
1
@rodiusmaximus I can't speak to the 1st half of your comment. As far as curriculum, There are conciquences for not following it. I've seen it personally.
1
@rodiusmaximus like I said. If they do there are consequences. I get your point. It still isn't part of any curriculum in any K-12 school in the US. Those consequences apply to all mindsets.
1
@rodiusmaximus your comparing crt with mein kamph ? Interesting. Why ? Any idea what children are exposed to on the internet. I'm more concerned with that than what isn't being taught in our schools.
1
@janetegner7244 University ? It is taught as an elective in some colleges. It is not part of any curriculum in any K-12 school in the US. Congrats on getting the spelling correct on the word loser. Rare in conservative comment threads. 👍👍
1
@ElectricInevitability the perception is offering it as an elective on the college level can do no harm. I can see a parent objecting to having it taught in elementary , middle or even high school level. And even then the opinions are divided.
1
@joannemoser3443 you're on fire today Joanne. 👍👍
