  1. Do you know that Komaba Park near Komaba-Todai-Mae Station used to be the land of the Maeda Clan? In fact the whole area, including the Tokyo Uni. etc. was their land. The Maeda's house in the Komaba Park was a candidate for MacArthur's house in Japan but was rejected since it is too close to the residential area. Today, still, there some families with the name "Maeda" living in the area.
