@Rocky.G No. This law was made about distribution of wealth like home. It does not mention anything about bride price. Men may be overjoyed, but gold diggers still have the way.

@Rocky.G The only good thing with this law is that women will stop asking to add their name in property deed to get married. In my personal opinion, it should be like - if you had 2 or more children from the marriage and the marriage lasted for more than 8 years ( 8 is lucky number in Chinese culture) then the wife can have equal share in husbands property.
