  1. That's the thing about southern cars they are rust free but the interiors are crispy. you have to take a rust free car from the south and use the non crispy interiors from the north east and then you got a great car inside and out

  2. Hell yeah I love the fix on the go stuff it keeps us on our tows to see what is going to break and will it leave you stranded and getting to see the south west of the Country at the same time is awesome I love it.

  3. I bought a car once that they said the cam was junk and found out whoever was playing with it cranked the rockers all the way down. I'm surprised the valves did not slap the pistons but then I found out the pushrods were all too short so whoever it was did not know what the hell they were doing with the valve train and in the very end there was only two dead lifters and the cam was ok but I replaced everything anyway

That rod for the fuel pump is easy to keep up there is the bolt that is on the front of the engine right by the pump you take that bolt out and stick a screw driver in to hold the rod back while putting the new fuel pump on then take the the screw driver out and put the bolt back in. That bolt is only there to keep that hole blocked it's a short bolt that holds nothing it's only there to block the hole to access the fuel pump rod .
