Here in the Philippines, generally speaking kids while growing are not allowed to swear until they are old enough to do so. Our local swear are just as sexual as the English and Spanish words. Some people swear here casually not because they are angry but they wanted to emphasis on what they are saying. Of curse, some swear because they are angry and frustrated - it could be the English swear words or the local ones which basically means the same thing. But, that is not to say that swearing is allowed all the time. You have to know who is in front of you I mean we are not going to curse someone from our family, senior citizens or anybody higher than you. Some actually cringe here when we hear our politicians or celebrities swear on TV.

Wow South Koreans has the temerity to speak up against both Superpowers. If only our politicians here in the Phlippines can be the same something.

I had gaps in my teeth when I was in my teens. Then as soon as I started working I had them fixed. It cost me fortune but I got to do it.

In a tropical country like mine where the sun is scorching. I always bring an umbrella, sometimes put on arm sleeves, apply anti UV ray lotion. Too much sun can really dry up your skin and they say you might end up with skin cancer. Also you stink with too much exposure to sun.Between 10am to 3pm are the times to avoid the sun where it is scorching hot.

Here in the Philippines, the mentality is also the same go to Manila and study in the top Universities and Colleges. In fact, the media will give so much emphasis on the entrace ecamination of the country's top state university - how many took the examination or how many will eventually enroll once he or she pass the ecam etc. Also, we have centers here to prepare you how to pass the tough examinations of the universities.

It's a pain watching Japanese porn. Hentai isn't any better either.

I do notice that the Koreans and Japanese men tend to look a little feminine. Not saying that's a bad thing because here in the Philippines some women find that attractive.

Here in the Philippines gun ownership is legal and yes we do have problems with loose firearms. It used to be that we can only own automatic hand guns but because of an executive by then President Erap we can now own high powered assault riffles. In fact, our incumbent president completely pardoned an actor who was once convicted of illegal possesion of firearm. Extra judicial killings, robbery and other gun related crimes are caused by loose firearms or by people who are licensed gun owners but lost their cool during altercations. Not as bad in the US but still very bad.

How safe is my country? Let me quote our President, "I am useless," him reacting to the statistics.

It is kind of surprising to see something like this in a country that is the 10th largest economy in the world.

Ma'am the prison here in the Philippines is already over crowded. Legalization of marijuana did not pan out in the previous presidents. More so under our current president where his top cop seems to enjoy the attention media is giving to him every time he burns hidden marijuana plantation. A former actor is already languishing in jail for possesion of dried marijuana leaves.

Ok, I am not Japanese but it would seem inevitable not to invite foreign workers with low birth rate and all of that other stuff. But, like what I always say just screen those people coming from other countries so that Japan can filter the good ones from the bad ones. You can start by requiring these workers to speak fluent Nihongo - no fluency, no entry. I am confident enough your government can implement this.

Here's the thing 90% of Japanese women would still prefer to marry a Japanese for obvious reasons.

Here in the Philippines we are direct as well with describing people like "your fat or thin or your nose is flat or you are short" whatever adjective. We don't really mean that as an insult so people being told by those words I mentioned above takes no offense. Besides most households here don't have disposible incomes for a plastic surgery.
