  1. Here in the Philippines, generally speaking kids while growing are not allowed to swear until they are old enough to do so. Our local swear are just as sexual as the English and Spanish words. Some people swear here casually not because they are angry but they wanted to emphasis on what they are saying. Of curse, some swear because they are angry and frustrated - it could be the English swear words or the local ones which basically means the same thing. But, that is not to say that swearing is allowed all the time. You have to know who is in front of you I mean we are not going to curse someone from our family, senior citizens or anybody higher than you. Some actually cringe here when we hear our politicians or celebrities swear on TV.
