  1. I merely had my podiatrist surgically permanently remove the nail and cauterize the nail bed on my infected toe nails. Problem solved. Toe nail is removed, and since the nail bed has been cauterized, no new nail grows back only to be reinfected. You really don’t need your toe nails, people. 👍
