  1. I’m totally OK with this. Trooper’s life was in danger. (Guy had a gun) Trooper used medium force to prevent an escalation to lethal force. If this were the L.A. Sheriff, they would have put 30 holes in him and everyone in L.A. would say it’s justified. Police work is sometimes not pretty. This trooper is to be commended for his bravery and use of non lethal force.
