  1. I had something like that happen to me is main Warsaw Poland train station in 1993 (I was lost and sought help from people milling about. I was told to “go around the building, go around the corner to a special kiosk etc” and I complied. The “friendly man” was even so kind to show me this kiosk himself. It turned out to be a set up to a robbery when about 5 of his accomplices tried to jump me. I got out by lucky accident and yelling my lungs out. In a split second they panicked. I had $2k usd cash on me. Only thing they got was a map of Warsaw. Lol So you guys were wise not to entertain this guy at all.
