Like any industry, the people running it know a lot about how what they do affects people. With that knowledge is power, and others in power work with them - kind of like TV... TV is very formulaic in its approach to everything - people have been studies, many focus groups have been had, and TV is now a tool. Prawn is just like TV shows - they have social programming in them to stifle society and make you think a certain way. They design things very sneakily, use algorithms to judge where you are and how quick you can be influenced in what directions. They have categories of stuff that in time you'll be steered into liking, even though you think it's nasty now. It's their goal: to make you sick and ineffective in the real world, both in business and personal relationships, because they need people broken enough to not stand up to them, but functional enough to support them. As time goes on, with animation of different industries, they need people less and less. It's a machine pointed at you, and they're getting you. Don't let them get you! You have strength, you need to exercise it. If you end up not being able to beat them, there is religion (I hate that word). You don't have to look too hard for the right one, it's Jesus. (well you might have to do a bit of research, but the truth is pretty obvious once you start)

Although there's a chemical component to it, I'd argue that the bonding (in this instance of female to male) isn't involuntary. If one does not already have a strong bond and a desire to make it even stronger, one should not be engaging in such a way with another.

In great relationships, sex is a great part. If society divorced the two it would definitely have a huge detrimental effect on sex in its proper context, stifling the number of people available to get together and enjoy it... Sex isn't the problem, people are the problem. Sex isn't the "need" so many people make it out to be. With a loving partner it's great, but really... what's going to happen to you if you don't have it? I've gone loooong stretches without it and I'm still here, many men enter marriages with bad partners and don't have sex more than a couple dozen times from 25 to 80 - they seem to survive. It's all mindset. My point is that people need to learn some self control and work on their character, society would not be better off separating sex from relationships, it'd be even worse for relationships

If not prosecuting theft under $1000 lowered armed bank robberies but increased less violent theft from retail stores, would you advise not prosecuting theft under $1000? Theft is bad, period, and people who rob places should be locked up. If laws were tougher on (actual) grape, these increases wouldn't be so large because these people wouldn't be out to reoffend. When you look at a corresponding increase, you're not looking at the whole picture. I'm not saying the one angle I brought up would equalize the harm (keep offenses as low with removal of corn), but that it's one aspect and there are many, this is very multi-faceted, and you can't forget the morality component which has implications for the rest of society as well!!

So there's the letter of the law and the spirit of the law, and we can extrapolate. Just because something isn't described verbatim (in this case because cob corn didn't exist yet), we can make inferences. There wasn't TV, photography, or printing 2000 years ago, and although I don't think the following idea was yet conceived, with the available structure there could have been shows arranged where people could do the same thing they do looking at books or videos, with no interaction between the audience, do you think this is something that Jesus would have endorsed? I'm not an expert [yet], but I don't think so!

@AveryPrice-mz3bd Ugh my comment to you got deleted by my keyboard. Yes, God loves us all and won't give up on us - that is a comforting fact. I think that trying to lead your life according to the morality outlined in the New Testament, makes you a disciple. Some do a better job than others, but we're all trying, and we all want the same thing :)

@skylinefever Lol. Though the people behind that movement are the same as the ones doing what I outlined above, the reasons don't correlate, because the actual reasons behind both aren't the same. Well they are the same when you get right down to it (strong enough to work but weak enough to not fight back), but very different from the stated or widely assumed goals. Because of this, it can be assumed they're not pushing the category because it doesn't suit their aims. For one it could increase fertility rate and that's not in their book of "intended effects" (there isn't a book if you don't see I'm being funny there).

@skylinefever It's been a while but someone replied here and it reminded me - I remember one campaign about a decade ago, they put the most attractive women in lesbian scenes. They want men so badly to find lesbians "hot" (it's in movies and stuff too), they put "hot" women in lesbian scenes, literally making the women performing in straight content less attractive (in multiple ways - weight, face, proportions). This was just on one site with only free content (as far as I'm aware... lol), but when you think about how many people just go to that one free site, that's not a small segment of society, or probably even the world. Now their focus is "step". Whatever's next will be especially not good, I'm sure.
