he lied to a buyer about the value to get money, that same buyer lost 4 million when he resold the property a few years later. who cares if you lie to get a loan or to get money, a lie is still a lie.

@ecbrown6151 yea, funny how a judge can rule without a trial on a property value in a different state outside his own jurisdiction in a civil case where there is no plaintifs. judges ruling is bogus because he ruled sumarily without any trial or evidence presented, because he knew if there was a prial then the case wouldnt hold up.

@Cameron_David_ Stewart lied about the value of his property and stated that it was over 800% higher than the governments apraised value, the buyer was defrauded because he lost $4 million by buying that property, thats how FRAUD works.

@AngelGarcia-vm5jx so i read the judges ruling, and that judge should be immediately disbarred and thrown in prison along with the prosecutor. his whole ruling is that Trump lied about his value in order to get better loan terms. that would imply that the banks and lenders are too stupid to do their own due diligence in figuring out how much Trump or his properties are worth, which the banks actually came out and said they did do their own due diligence. so according to the judges own ruling, Stewart should ALSO be charged with fraud, because he lied about the value of his property in order to inflate its value so a loan can be secured by someone else for him to get paid. END OF STORY.

@anastasiae.5338 true, he didnt force anyone to pay the asking price, he just lied about its value when he posted the asking price, the tax collector valued it at a much lower rate than his asking price, and considering the buyer lost money a few years later when he resold it, then YES, Stewart LIED about its value and committed fraud where someone lost $4 million.

@TheVanDammeFan2009 no bank bases value of a loan on square footage. you can buy 10 acres of land in one area for less than what a 750 square foot condo will cost in other areas.
