maybe they look funny at you because you are part of the neighborhood watch and they are up to no good and dont want to get caught, ever think of that? in all that time living in the neighborhood, have you reached out to your neighbors? im not saying this to be mean, but here is an example. i live in Chicago, and there was a neighborhood that i lived in for about 7 years, all single family homes, i knew the people in the house on each side of me and the house across the street from me and 1 of the houses on the other end of the block. i didnt know anyone else on my block. im white, and the rest of the block was mostly white except for 1 spanish family that no one liked for various reasons and one family that was black that mostly kept to themselves. there was one summer where we decided to throw a block party, i went around and put up flyers on every door of every house on both sides of the street, less than half actually contributed, the rest were skitish, i made it a point to invite the black family in person by knocking on their door. the father was some teacher and the mother was a nurse and they had 2 preteen kids. i convinced them to come out to the block party, we blocked off the street and everyone was sociable. even the people that didnt contribute came out of their shell to at least look around and investigate. sometimes people want to keep to themselves for various reasons, one of those reasons being the misconception that they dont fit in or its not really their neighborhood. maybe, sometimes, people need to be reached out to. just because people live in a neighborhood does not mean that people automatically reach out and are friendly, some people are skitish or weary.

@kh9242 you think a white person can walk into a black neighborhood so easily without getting funny looks or being told to go back to where they came from? it happens in alot of neighborhoods, thats because the county is so segregated and the politicians like it that way. they get to spin black against brown against whtie against black and while we are busy fighting amongst ourselves we dont see them robbing us blind.

@dargondude2375 thats usually, but considering that there were several other instances or events with this gu, maybe its something about him? and this drill seargent was warned by the other parties involved in the previous altercations?

yea, from the video it looked like a white man harrasing a black man just for walking, but also taking into account that the man was involved in other similar situations like this in the neighborhood, he already had a reputation of some sorts, i dont know what that reputation is, but its apparently not his first time around the block. perhaps he was doing this to instigate some kind of response, to goad someone into doing something to him, that is a posibility. although in the video when he got pushed, he looked like he was stepping towards the drill seargents wife, he was walking slowly almost at a crawling speed until he moved towards the drill guys wife, and thats where he got pushed. not right on the white guys side, but then again, do go arguing with a drill seargent in front of his home.

@pedroholsbach8592 even rational national pointed out what i said, that this guy was involved in other incidents in the neighborhood, you dont know what those incidents are, and if the cops made that statement then that means they knew about those incidents. maybe you should take the racist glasses off and see the world for what it really is. funy how people like you will atribute a white guy attacking a black guy and claim its a pattern but you refuse to see paterns that a black guy does. pattern is that he was involved in some other incidents in the neighborhood to where hte police were aware of those incidents.

@pedroholsbach8592 yea, im pointing to previous incidents that the cops are aware of, so yes, that is a pattern, and this pattern belongs to this black guy. but thanks for being so ridiculous that you think its bad language to mention that there were previous incidents that could be part of a pattern. what were those other incidents that occured with this guy all over the neighborhood? care to elaborate or are you too cowardly to admit that there is any pattern and you are so blinded by fear of being perceived as a racist taht you will turn a blind eye to them and jump to the defence of someone simply over his skin color? at least RN toward the end of his vid pointed out taht there were some other incidents and being curious about them, you just want to push the bullshit racism narrative as best you can without looking at anything else.

@saltymonkey8874 yes, reaching out is hard to do, and its not aplicable in every situation, but in some situations, simply reaching out can solve so many issues and misconceptions and clear the miscomunication.

@zacheryeckard3051 unfortunately you are correct. in the US white people are the largest group with the most institutional support, in other countries it is other groups. mostly its by design of who built the country and by the simple term of the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few, mostly.

@barquerojuancarlos7253 it used to be the same way here, not that long ago. you used to be able to sit down with anyone and claim you hate Bush because of the wars he started, and people would either agree or disagree with you based on that, and that was it. sit down at a table with someone who is a democrat and claim you have Obama because of the wars he expanded or the authoritarian way he pushed through Obamacare or the way he single handedly with the stroke of a pen as an Execitive Order put in place a new tax called the individual mandate, a single man put in a new tax. somewhere within a ten minute conversation on that you will get called a racist for that. people no longer are willing to talk politics here because it will devolve into getting called racist.

@aethionr4478 you had me right up until you started spewing out giberish like FASCIST, then you lost me. with people like you its always about one thing, racism, wherever you go, everyone that doesnt agree with you or doesnt bow down to you is a fascists or a racist or both. and look at the hatred in you, automatically you assume someone is a fascist and therefore unwilling to compromise so you wont compromise with them. you claim their hate goes all the way to the core, but where does yours go? are they so beyond hope that you wont be willing to try to compromise? what does that say about you and the hatred you hold in you? can you even define fascist? i mean seriously, look at what you say and how you say it, you cant build alliances with them, thier hate runs to the core, they will drag you down to their subhuman level. there was a small man, in Germany, in the 30's, that used those same exact words, except for calling those people fascist, he called them jews, and now here you are emulating him, spouting off hatred for people you hardly even know.

@RobertEmery nope, fascism is not defined as oppressing people beneath you, if thats the definition you want to use, then every government everywhere through all of history has been fascist. here is a definition of fascism for you so you can stop trying to redefine it to fit your own narrative of trying to smear people. YOU are a fascist by trying to smear your opposition as fascist simply so you can oppress them because you feel they are beneath you.
