not necessarily. you see, you can have insider information, and you can take it to your friend who has a brother who is a broker, with the understanding that your friends brother will share in the profits of the transaction he made. people do do this.

first off, the people who make the laws are not going to pas that law. secondly, blind trust? like there is no way around it? like a congressperson doesnt have the ability to pass along information to the facilitators of their blind trust?

@lordmortarius538 yea, stop paying taxes, see what happens. they dont need to put millions in prison, just a few to make an example out of. you were so quick to bend the knee with the Covid jabs, when they come at you and threaten your whole family you think you wont bend both knees?

you think a representational democracy is the only thing that is a corrupt joke? any and every government that has ever existed in the history of the world has been corrupted, its not a form of system that is easily corrupted, its the people, because people are fallable and corruptable. as the saying goes. Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

@Masaru_kun really? reform the system so that it doesnt give people such corrupting power in the first place? please, enlighten us all how to achieve this. 1. term limits? we have term limits on presidents, somehow the Clintons became filthy wealthy after Bill finished his second term, and the Obamas also became filthy wealthy after they left. term limits would simply concentrate the corruption. 2. make laws? no amount of laws will be perfect at stopping everything. we can make a law that prevents Pelosi from trading stocks, doesnt stop Pelosis husband or daughter or neighbors brothers cousings friends babysitter from trading stocks. and yea, the Taliban is not corrupt, sure, you just dont get to see the corruption.

@AvangionQ funny how we have plenty of criminals out there, surprisingly the law hasnt stopped them. the law doesnt stop criminals, the only thing it does is define a forbidden action and set consequences for commiting such action. example: there is a law against murder, that law stipulates that you will serve 20 years in prison for murder, it doesnt stop you from murdering anyone, it simply informs you of the consequences of murder, and its up to you to decide if 20 years lockup is worth commiting the action. but there literally is nothing to stop you from murdering someone.

@AvangionQ prison IS a deterrent to crime, im saying laws dont prevent crime, laws simply create a framework for other things to deter crime, which is prisons.
