@lordlemond1350 what rights are you losing? name one right you are losing?
3
well, then raise the bar instead of twisting the bar with racist policies.
2
@Don.M. wait wait, judges deciding whether a law or policy is legal or not is anti-democratic?
2
@lordlemond1350 imagine we keep that policy, and then just change the phrase "black" to "white" and "african american" to "caucasian", now tell me thats not racist.
2
oh noes, the ruled against your racist policy so you dont like them, typical democrat.

i agree, they should kill the legacy admissions, so bring it up to SCOTUS. SCOTUS is not there to decide on cases that are NOT brought before them, the only see the cases that ARE brought before them. notice how some laws can be on the books for years and years before SCOTUS rules them unconstitutional? in Chicago we had laws on the books since '85 banning handguns, and just recently SCOTUS overturned that law, it was in the 2000's, because someone brought it before them.

@nathanlevesque7812 and you are missing the point, AA ID RACIST. Anytime you institute a program that gives privilege to one over another based on race IS racist.
1
@nathanlevesque7812 quit trying to defend your racism with dumb arguments and excuses like "legacy admisions".
1
man, havent seen racist democrats this mad at SCOTUS since SCOTUS told democrats that a bunch of old white guys in DC are not allowed to dictate their abortion rights and their own local legislation should dictate it.
1
just like tryouts, you should be judged based on how many points you score, not by the color of your skin. if im building a team, and i want to win the championship, im not going to flood my team with those kids in the top 10% when those "bubble" kids score twice as many points.
1
oh i see, so your solution is this. to help the neglected group, you will continue neglecting them and then punish other groups in order to get a mediocre result. you dont invest in the neglected groups early education, and then to make up for that neglect, you install racist blanket policies while blaming and punishing another group, and the end result is the people who benefit from those racist policies are mediocre in their field. you dont go to a hospital and ask for the blackest doctor, you ask for the best doctor, but with your policies, the best doctor would be the mediocre doctor that met your biased criteria.
1
yes yes, its always extreme to end democrats racist policies.
1
damn straight, end democrats racist policies.
1
racist policies are not social progress.
1
you want to have that conversation then FILE A CASE AND BRING IT UP TO SCOTUS. SCOTUS only rules on and decides the cases brought up to them. apparently no one has filed a challenge on that issue.
1
@Laz3rCat95 what reforms?
1
@Laz3rCat95 and all those things make it more corrupt.
1
@PeteFredrickson making judges electable by the people would beholden those judges to the whims of the people that elected them, actually, it would make those judges beholden to the special interest groups that funded those judges campaigns, just like every other politician out there right now.
1
@Laz3rCat95 im sorry, which special interest groups are lobying SCOTUS and have them in their pocket? its funny how you people whine and cry about how SCOTUS needs to be reformed the moment they rule against some special interest you have.
1
balancing SCOTUS??? what does that even mean? scotus is not a branch of the government that needs balancing between right and left or democrat and republican or conservative and liberal, SCOTUS is there to interpret the law and rule whether that law is constitutional and doesnt violate any rights or the constitution.
1
you are deeply disappointed that SCOTUS ended a racist policy? typical democrat, always pushing race based policies and then being disappointed when they end.
1
@lordlemond1350 what systemic and institution discriminations against race? the only systemic and institutional discriminations against race that i see are ones pushed by democrats in the guise of fighting racism. take that policy and change the term "african american" to "caucasian", and then tell me it isnt racist? only a racist democrat like you would push a policy that gives 50% of the benefits to 13% of the population based an race as the only characteristic and claim its fighting racism. imagine a country where a child who studied all their life and got perfect scores and perfect grades was passed over for admision to a school in favor of an average student simply for the color of their skin.
1
@lordlemond1350 as long as you admit that you are a RACIST and you want racist policies as long as they satisfy your imagined white guilt. FBA's shoes? ive survived more than you ever will.
