  1. so you think school safety provisions are all BS and the schools already have auto-lockdown doors? how did the Uvalde shooter get into the school then? through a NOT auto-lockdown door. how did the Parkland shooter get in? through a NOT auto-lockdown door. how about we start securing the schools the same way we secure bank vaults and congress?

  4.  @Honorbound43  i agree with you, background checks should be mandatory for EVERY gun purchase or transfer, the problem is how to regulate those private transfers. lets say i give my kid a gun, how would you regulate that i give them a background check? its easy to say, but its hard to mandate. as for red flag laws, i would support a red flag law on guns if you would support a red flag law on cars? lets pass red flag laws on everything so that others can take it away on a whim.

  6.  @golDroger88  hey, you never know, i mean look at Canada, they dont have the right to peacefully protest, look at England, they dont have the right to freedom of press when they arrest journalists for reporting on a story, they dont have freedom of speech in Germany when they arrest and imprison an 84 year old some for simply saying she doesnt believe the holocaust happened.

  10.  @Honorbound43  yes, exactly, the federal government sets federal laws that adhere to the constitution, so the federal government cant pass laws that directly conflict with the constitution, say banning ownership of guns as it goes against the 2a, or say banning a religion as it interferes with 1a, or say for example passing red flag laws that go against the due process clause of the 5th and 14th amendment which state "no one shall be deprived of life, liberty or property without due process of law." to put simply, The Due Process Clause guarantees “due process of law” BEFORE the government may deprive someone of “life, liberty, or property.”

  12.  @Honorbound43  no, if you restrict access to guns you restrict them for everybody, not just criminals, but then again, we already have laws restricting criminals access to firearms. as for what was going on 100 or 200 years ago, thats history, at that point in time we also didnt have the criminal problems we have now, and no, lots of people carried guns back then, and very few towns actually had any restrictions on guns, in fact, the shootout at the OK Corral was the very first shooting in the very first "gun free" zone in America. now, for what supreme court judges have said, its funny how you just cherry pick only the judges that were for gun control, you dont want to mention the MANY judges that have stated that the 2a guarantees individual rights, along with many founders who have stated as much, including James Madison who signed a letter of marque and reprisal telling a private ship owner that the second amendment protects their right to carry cannons. funny how SCOTUS ruled that the 2a extends to INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS regardless of membership in a militia. as for 2a ppl having no problem with restricting access to guns when it comes to minorities, we 2a PPL are fighting to preserve 2a rights for EVERYONE, none of us have made any claim as to only allowing a certain racial group for owning them. gun control started becoming huge after the civil war, when democrats feared former slaves being armed, as for the NRA, funny how you would bash on an organization that was started after slavery ended specifically to teach and help former slaves exercise their 2a rights. funny how all the gun control happens in large cities with large minority populations, pushed by democrats, im guessing democrats and people like YOU have a problem with minorities having guns, because ive never seen a minority at the gun shop or at the range get treated badly.

  13. if you dont like children being murdered in classrooms then how about you secure the classrooms? congress is secured, notice how they dont have mass shootings in congress? the white house is secured, notice how there is no mass shootings at the white house? police stations are secured, notice how there are no mass shootings in police stations? secure the schools and quit trying to take peoples rights away.
