@jlighter1 i call him a perp as a coloquial term, and yes, there is a guy laying in a hospital in critical condition from a stabbing commited by a man in a wheelchair, thats why the cops were called out there. and yea, he wasnt guilty because he wanst found guilty, but he didnt help the situation along and excalated it through his direct actions. stop trying to make excuses to cite law in order to defend dangerous criminals roaming our streets stabbing people.

@olstar18 yea, i remember that, some of those citizens were injured, i wonder how they could have been injured if its so easy to disarm a guy with a knife and a guy with a knife is not dangerous.

@cliftonguyette2498 how do you know they didnt try to handle it without lethal; force? you dont, you just seen a video specifically edited to show the interaction in the middle when it starts going bad, you didnt see any of the interaction beforehand. as for cops are not executioners, i agree, thats not their job, but when a dangerous criminal armed with a knife takes all the other options off the table with their direct actions, then something needs to be done to protect the rest of the community at large. quit trying to make up any excuses to defend someone who was clearly a danger to society and has demonstrated that.

@jlighter1 if he was witnessed stabbing someone, and if the victim of the stabbing identified him as the stabber, then yes, he is a criminal. stop trying to split hairs and make excuses with the law in order to defend a criminal.

@jlighter1 if you are admonishing cops in a situation then you are defending the criminal in that same situation. i dint see a single thing you typed about how the guy should NOT have stabbed someone, or how he should NOT have dissobeyed the police, or how he should NOT have threatened police or anyone else. all i see from you is admonishing the cops in this situation, but complete silence towards the criminal who STARTED the alrtercation and ESCALATED it completely. see, admonishing the cops in one situation doesnt mean you defend a criminal in another situation, such as for example, admonishing the cops in the Teree Nichols case does not mean you are defending the criminal in this case, but admonishing the cops in this case signals that you lay the blame on the cops, especially when you dont lay any blame on the criminal, that shows a defense of the criminal. no go on and defend criminals some more, but at least be honest about it, you hate cops simply for the sake of hate and no matter what the cops do its wrong because the criminals are right. maybe one day you will get your wish when a family member gets killed by a criminal because a cop decided that he shouldnt stop the criminal because in your narrow mind its excessive force.

@cheryllunn2827 im willing to bet he was the only suspect in that area in a wheelchair wearing those clothes, as described by the victim of the stabbing and witnesses. you trying to make it a citywide phenomenon with your bogus statement of "is he the only person in the city in a wheelchair" is a desperate attempt to rationalize defending a criminal. thats all you can do, make excuses and stretch out and twist reality to support your position.

@austin5944 oh BS, you are sooo full of it, why do you lie? a guy in San Francisco used a waterhose and sprayed water on a homeless woman sitting on the sidewalk, that made national headlines, so yea, a guy in a wheelchair being hassled by police no matter the tactics would make national headlines and you would hear about it, its too juicy of a story to not make news.
