hurling insults at somebody is one thing, using racial slurs is something completely different. and Hassan and Vaush BOTH acknowledged that this particular word in the context it is used in IS a racial slur.

@scoobertmcruppert2915 loosely tied to race and more about class you say? funny how the ADL claims it is a slur for white people, (usually poor), meaning it is more tied to race than class. so either the ADL is lying or you are defending racism. which one is it?

@joshholmes9976 yes he did, but he did not use it in a derogatory way addressing some else. he used the word cracker but did not actually call anyone a cracker, there is a difference.

@Broblerone who gives a single fuck? Hasan and Vaush would give a single fuck when they advocated in the past for censoring and banning people who used racial slurs. thats who would give a fuck. Hasan and Vaush both in the past have called for people to be banned from platforms and for platforms to censor people using racial slurs. but im glad to know that its OK by you to use some racial slurs, guess that makes you a racist too?

@anandpandey5331 if you dont know what you are talking about then dont stick your ignorant as int the conversation. i know those people got banned for using a racial slur, and i am defending that ban, while everyone else is defending using the racial slur and trying to make excuses for why its OK to use it.

@anandpandey5331 I'm not trying to make cracker a racial slur, it already IS a racial slur. The ADL defines it as a racial slur, most people know it's a racist slur if used in a certain context, and even Hasan and Vaush admitted they know it's a racist slur and they used it anyway. Bur I guess racism to you is ok if it's a low Leven of racism because you feel so right? That's the exact justification racists use for being racist, they claim that their form of racism isn't so bad, or it's justified for whatever reasons, or they excuse it for whatever reasons, JUST LIKE YOU.

@anandpandey5331 im not saying Cracker is the same as the N word, what i am saying is they are both racial slurs, and if you claim to want to end racism then you shouldnt be excusing one over the other simply because you dont think its as bad, its like saying its OK to stab someone becaue its not as bad as shooting someone. as for if it was a gaming streamer that got banned, i wouldnt care and i would expect it. and no, i dont follow Hasan, never watched any of his content in my life, i watched a little of Vaush, but found him to be more disingenuous than i could stomach where he would twist reality and at times make up stuff just to support his views. here is the thing, if you make rules, then make them uniform and adhere to them, instead of making rules and then excusing bad behavior simply because you agree with it. the Klan made justification for their racism claiming it wasnt so bad, and the NAZIS made their justifications in the same manner that some people justify it on here, where its not racism if its marginalized people against the controling oppressors. no matter which way you slice it, its bad, so stop making excuses and justifications.

@scoobertmcruppert2915 yea yea, you don't need to care, the fact is that the ADL is the authority and recognized as the authority by many, and you defending the use of a racial slur and trying to excuse it with some failed attempt at blaming a side for attacking libs shows you as a racist.
