thats rihgt, go Canada when it comes to healthcare. one of the leading causes of death in Canada is now Euthanasia provided by the healthcare system. stub a toe?, put you to sleep like a dog, hangnail? put you to sleep like a cat. cut yourself shaving? flush you dont the toilet like a fish. oh well, Canadians are nothjing more than pets to their government anyway.

@Blackmark52 according to factcheck AFP, their statement. claims that MAID is the sixth leading cause of death are misleading, according to Statistics Canada. "Medical assistance in dying is recognized as the manner of death and not the cause of death,". just a fancy way of saying, i didnt kill anyone, the bullet that i shot out of a gun is what kill;ed someone. the Pope decried it, and the UN raised concerns about it. there was an investigation into the system when a veteran with PTSD was reccomended for Euthanasia and a prominent paralympic athlete was recommended for Euthanasia when she requested medical treatment.

@Blackmark52 true, i agree, people should have the choice, but that choice should NOT be made by other people. so explain why a VET was offered Euthanasia and pressured to take it when he just wanted healthcare? explain why a paralympics athlete was offered and preassured to take Euthanasia when she asked for medical help? and then explain to me, if someone with a mental disorder comes into a doctors office and demands euthanasia simply because their faculties are faulty because they forgot to take their meds that day, is the doctors obligation to offer it or try to treat the patiens illness? its one thing for an individual to request it because they are in pain from a terminal disease that is incurable, its a whole completely differrent ballgame when the medical community starts recommending it as a form of medicine.

@Blackmark52 no actually, the vet did NOT request it, he wanted medical treatment and the medical system was pushing for assisted suicide, thats why the matter is being investigated.

@Blackmark52 are you really being that ignorant on purpose? i said that he asked for medical help, he did NOT choose assisted suicide as an option, he REFUSED it and the medical personel kept pressuring him to take it. HE DID NOT CHOOSE IT. i hope you dont care when you break a leg and the doctors decide to put you down like a dog without you choosing.

yea, Canadian healthcare being soooo superior that they cant fund it enough so they have a staffing shortage because the nurses dont get paid enough for the work they do to the point that one of the leading cases of death in Canada is now Euthanasia that is pushed by the healthcare system. there is a story where a paralympic athlete was complaining that she needed i believe wheelchair access and the healthcare system pushed her towards euthanasia. great system, obviously superior to any system that at least tries to help.
