@northside3701 can you tell me which policies does Biden have that you support and point out how he worked to try and implement those policies in the past? making a campaign promise is not a policy.

@playcloudpluspc whatever Reid did, worked out great for Republicans a decade later, Republicans were cheering Reids name. This voting rights bill would give the federal government control over elections by imposing federal rules and guidelines for all states. If the Republicans win the midterms in 2022, and historically usually congress switches party to the opposing party of the president within the first term, so this midterm it should switch to republican control. Do you want Republicans in GA in 2023 to set the rules of what ID'S are eligible for voters in CA? Because that's exactly what this bill would do.

@archyneverpicked and what makes the senate undemocratic? the people of the state elect their representatives, so thats democratic. the function of the senate is to give states equal say so that the minority is not ruled over by the tyrany of the majority.

@archyneverpicked then you need to abolish the whole system of states if the representatives represent their own districts, or else the 54 representatives from CA will always outvote the 3 representatives from Alaska and always take away their funding and resources
