When these celebrities come and speak in favor of, endorse, or even appear to support a candidate, they should be required to disclose that they, or an organization they are affiliated with, received payment from the campaign. To me it’s just like when you see advertisements for products, and a celebrity appears in the commercial, they are required to disclose (in the littlest print possible, unfortunately) that the celebrity was paid for their appearance on the commercial. Why would political campaigns be any different?
