But, that very claim that Leticia James is making about the law in New York is precisely the issue that the Supreme Court is addressing as a result of that case that Dave Aronberg talked about. And the argument before the Court made it very clear that there is a legal difference between giving a normal child a puberty blocker to address precocious puberty and giving a “trans” child a puberty blocker as the beginning of the path to try to change their sex - the purpose for which the medication is given is the difference, and I think that the Supreme Court will decide that is a legal difference.

Did you see those ridiculous red socks that the Governor of New Jersey was wearing, and those pants that were way too short? He totally made the whole thing up, to try to give himself some artificial swagger. :)

Dave Aronberg said that other countries have birthright citizenship, and gave the example of Canada and Mexico. I just did a quick search on Grok, and Grok says that Canada DOES NOT have birthright citizenship in the sense of granting citizenship automatically to anyone born within its borders. Instead, Canada follows a policy where citizenship by birth is granted if at least one parent is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident at the time of the child’s birth. So, there are conditions that apply. I’m not saying that Grok is a good source, without further research, but it makes me skeptical of Dave’s claim, and this would need further research to verify what he alleges. And, as far as Mexico, Grok says that Mexico does have birthright citizenship, but so what? They don’t have any social benefit programs anywhere close to what the U.S. offers, so I doubt that pregnant women are flooding to Mexico to have their babies.

Megyn just hit the nail on the head! If the amendment to the Constitution just wanted to give citizenship to everyone born here, there would be no need to add the “and subject to the jurisdiction thereof”. And, again, they were just trying to make it clear that the children of slaves that were born here would be considered citizens.

Cynthia Nixon has previously said that she has one or two kids that are trans, plus a couple more of them in her immediate family. Does it not even occur to her that there is something suspicious about this fact? Like, if this trans thing truly is “I was born in the wrong body”, doesn’t it seem odd that she would have multiple children in her immediate family who were victim to this mysterious malady? The odds of that doesn’t make sense, from a statistics standpoint. So, this makes the explanation lean more toward NOT an actual physical condition, but a psychological condition arising from a social contagion. In other words, these kids don’t need medical intervention. They need therapy from a real therapist that isn’t transition-biased, and they need to get off of social media.
