Comments by "RhondaK" (@Rhonda2580) on "Hunter Biden's Trial Begins, and Media Celebrates Trump Verdict, w/ Emily Jashinsky u0026 Eliana Johnson" video.
Are we thinking seriously that Hunter is going to try to argue that he was an addict, so he is not responsible for the things that he does? I’m sorry, dude, but you ARE responsible for the things that you do when you are an addict. I’ll tell you why - WE didn’t make you an addict, YOU did that. So, YOU are responsible for all of the consequences of that. If he was an alcoholic, and ran someone over while driving drunk, it is not a defense to say that you are an alcoholic.

I think that, every time the Biden campaign throws out the “Trump is a convicted felon” line, the Trump campaign should come back with “We understand that is a lot easier for you than talking about what you’ve done to the border (or the economy, or our college campuses, or …), but those are the issues that actually matter to the American people.”

What BS! Joe Biden doesn’t “love his son”. He is “pulling him closer” because he is an actual LEGAL liability, regardless of whether or not he is a political liability. Hunter knows many things and, if he turned on his father and the rest of the family, or even let things slip inadvertently, it could spell terrible trouble for Joe. And, by the way, we aren’t talking about a 12 year old child here - certainly any father would be worried about an adult son that has gotten himself into this kind of legal trouble, but acting like Hunter is breakable and has to be protected all the time is part of why he is so screwed up to start with.

It is really none of our business whether or not Trump cheated on his wife. That is entirely between him and her. I don’t care how many times he may have cheated on her, it isn’t illegal, and I would never consider that issue in choosing who to vote for.

The objection Megyn is talking about is “more prejudicial than probative” or “the potential prejudice outweighs the probative value”.

I agree with you. The ladies didn’t mention Byron Donalds at all. I think he would be a good choice. He is a strong and confident sort of man, and he knows something about the inner workings of Washington, and that might help Trump. And maybe he would help bring some black female voters.

@armonjohnson Well, I think it is actually to Donalds’ credit that he hasn’t served in Congress for too many years. About black women, we would need polling on that, but I know that is a demographic group that typically has a problem with Trump. And he was in the Florida house before that. And he was nominated for speaker of the U.S. House, which indicates that he has credibility with his fellow House members.

@armonjohnson No reason for the hostile attitude.

@armonjohnson Dude, no reason for the hostile tone. And I’m not advocating for him to be President, but I think the VP slot might fit him well and would be good for Trump.
1
@armonjohnson In a hostile manner. If you want people to be persuaded by what you have to say, dial it back.

@2Bluzin That might be true, I don’t know. I guess it depends on the kind of mother she was. In any event, I think Hunter is like 40 now? And Joe has done one of the worst things you can do with an addict - put them in the vicinity of large amounts of cash, with no accountability or responsibility.
