I don’t think that we need to take everything that online commentators say “with a grain of salt”. What I think we need to do is do our due diligence about the people that we are going to follow and listen to, and don’t just blindly believe everything that we read online. We have to be especially wary of things that we read that are inflammatory sounding and that play into our established biases or beliefs. This is only logical and, before the explosion of the digital world, would be common sense for us. I wouldn’t stop and listen to some random person on the street spouting a conspiracy theory about something, and take it for the truth. We have to use the same discretion when we chose who or what or listen to online.

Although Britt is a very nice person, I really don’t find that she has much to contribute to these discussions. I don’t hear anything from her that I haven’t already heard, or any unique analysis. I am assuming that Megyn has her on to help Britt’s media reach, and that’s very kind of her.
