I don’t think that Kamala is dumb. She is very good at understanding what will work to her benefit, and then pursuing that, regardless of what the truth is. But, she seems to have no mental agility or depth, and certainly isn’t very good at thinking on her feet. These are not good traits for a Presidential candidate.

I loved listening to Lawrence and Calvin, but I think that Megyn brought out in the best in them also. So interesting to hear, from two intelligent men that are actually in the UK, what is happening there.

Doctors have gotten way too reliant on pharmaceuticals as the answer for everything. That’s what they teach in medical school. No matter what you have, there is a drug for that. They get virtually no training on the benefits of good nutrition, exercise, or alternative therapies, even including simple things like meditation or prayer. And, by the way, doctors make a lot of money as a result of the drugs that they prescribe. Really a messed up system.

Maureen - Friends ended many years ago now. And it was fairly well known that Perry had addiction issues during the making of the show. You could almost tell from the ups and downs of his weight changes during the show. I think that his co-stars on Friends did actually care about him, and didn’t just say “oh well, we don’t care about Matt, because we are making a lot of money.” But, when someone is addicted, you can’t make them stop. That is up to them. You can help and support, and encourage them to get help, but you can’t do it for them. Are you suggesting that everyone should have refused to continue with the show because Matt was an addict? That doesn’t make any sense.

@Ninjamama22 You might be surprised - there are a lot of dumb attorneys out there. I am a retired attorney, and I have met quite a few of them. People that are good at taking tests aren’t the same as smart people.

I think that we need to stop attacking people, and start attacking their ideas instead. This name calling thing is mostly a creature of the left. It goes along with the left trying to personalize everything - everything is about how you “feel” and not about the facts. When someone calls you “racist” or “Islamaphobic”, I guess it is a lazy way of trying to challenge your ideas. But, we need to make them do the work. Get behind those labels and make them articulate the idea that they are disagreeing with. Then, we can talk about the idea, without the shorthand label.

Maureen Callahan is a lovely person, but I really don’t get anything from her political analysis. I think her lane is more the Meghan Markle type stuff.
