  3. That practice seems so dumb. There are a lot of people that are bad at their job, but manage not to get fired, especially in government. That just means they were mediocre. They should not get credit for time of service, and should be held to the same testing standards as new people seeking to be hired.

  4. And, Senator Cassidy, how long ago did you actually practice medicine? Like, were you still using leeches? Much more study has been done regarding child vaccinations since he practiced, and it makes no sense to expect Kennedy to turn a blind eye to any new information about vaccines.

  5. I agree with Charlie. Why would the VOTE on Tulsi be secret? There aren’t any national security issues with a VOTE! I am understanding that there is a possibility of this, but I am wondering who will make this decision.

  6. Even if they let one of the air traffic controllers leave early, why wouldn’t they call someone else in to cover that empty spot. They certainly must have employees that are on standby for such a situation. And I’ll bet that there is a written protocol that requires that there are certain number of controllers on duty for a certain level of, or types of, air traffic.

  8. Or the air traffic controller should have identified to the helicopter pilot BOTH of the commercial jets in the vicinity of the helicopter.

  9. It is funny that they wouldn’t have an early warning system. But, maybe because it is military.

  11. We should keep in mind that the suit against the FAA that Megan talked about is still just a lawsuit. What she talked about are just allegations, not facts proven at trial. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if the allegations were true.
