Asking the American people in a poll whether they oppose tariffs or are in favor of tariffs is like asking the American people if they are in favor of the Pythagorean theorem - they have heard the words maybe, but don’t really know what it is, or what it means. That’s a highly unreliable poll question that is going to produce results that don’t really tell you anything. The fact that Google searches for the word “tariff” are also through the roof supports this argument. But, I will guaranty you that doing a Google search for the word “tariff” won’t actually tell you anything about how tariffs really work, or how they can be used.

  5. I think that Alicia Keyes really doesn’t know what DEI even means. Nobody is telling people to be quiet. Everyone still has their right to freedom of speech. You just can’t compel people hire or do business with people just because of their race or sex.

  7. The Dems know that what they are doing isn’t working for them with the American people and their voter base, but they don’t know what to do instead. And it makes it much harder for them also because they don’t have any clear leader, and certainly not any rational leader. They need a Bill Clinton type that will take charge and lead them back toward the center, but they obviously can’t stomach that, in light of the DNC elections that they just conducted. I think that they haven’t hit bottom yet - they need more losing before they will be ready to take the leap toward a different platform.

Grok says that the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act would still allow transgender girls to practice with teams as long as they do not displace cisgender girls from competitive opportunities. This is ridiculous! And we have to get rid of words like “cisgender”. We are WOMEN, not cisgender women!
